The Story

For as long as David can remember, his spring and summers were filled with the sweet smell of hives. Beekeeping was a hobby that would become a family tradition. From his Grandfather, to his Mother, Father and Sisters, beekeeping was a labor of love that unified their family. Alongside Sherry, who has made a career in hospitality and event planning, they have combined their efforts and evolved that into something bigger.  Something we want to share with the community and the many guests that come our way. We have curated a space on our property shared by our animals, and now a stunning venue, made with love from the ground up. We have carefully positioned the buildings, the landscape and the decor to design a peaceful escape just for you. The true start of a new family tradition.

Join us, Honey Acres Ranch.

About the land

William the Donkey, a handful of Mini Goats, a coop of hens, a rooster, and our very spoiled, very loved dogs, Roxy and Findley are welcoming you as you arrive.

Although our busy bees will be working hard miles from home, the honey production will always remain on our property. We take pride in being an educational pillar for the community by teaching others about the importance of protecting the honey bee. We will hold classes, neighborhood get togethers, and be the perfect hosts for your private events.

With all the new work on the property, we have taken a "help heal the earth"  approach.  The mentality of low waste, reusing as many products as we can, recycling and repurposing; this project has been fulfilled by many months of purchases from our town and staying local.

The end product being Deland Florida's newest venue.

Sharing love, extending families, and making memories.
